2009 Poster Contest Our poster contest is open to all students at the high school and college levels who live in the Greater Chicago Region. Entrants do not have to be members of JASNA-GCR. Students must be enrolled in full‑time or part‑programs during one or more semesters/quarter of the 2009‑2010 academic year. Part‑time at the college level is defined as a minimum of six credit hours. Winning posters will be displayed on our website and at our annual Spring Gala, April 24, 2010. Topic Celebrating the life of Jane Austen (1775-1817) or one of her novels Prizes: First prize: $300 Two runners up: $100 All three prizes include Free registration to the Spring Gala for the winner and guest Recognition at the Spring Gala and on the JASNA-GCR website One of Jane Austen's novels Rules All submissions must be original and previously unpublished work.  Include a brief statement about how you created this poster and what you hope it will convey about Jane Austen.  Posters will be judged for their relevance, design, artistry and creativity in conveying the topic. Submissions should be sent electronically to jasnaoutreach@gmail.com formatted as a JPG (JPEG) or PDF (Abobe PDF) attachment by March 1, 2010.   Be sure to include Poster Contest in your subject line.
